Human trafficking is not a third world problem! It is modern-day slavery and it happens every day in South Carolina.

Community awareness is one of the best ways to help prevent human trafficking. The Christian Life & Public Affairs Committee in partnership with Switch, an Upstate organization that helps rescue people held by human traffickers, will host this learning opportunity at First Baptist Spartanburg.

Speakers include:

Alan Wilson, SC Attorney General
Zaina Greene, Switch
Jonathan Bastoni, SLED & the Federal Task Force on Human Trafficking with the Greenville Sheriff's Department

The day will end with a panel discussion and Q/A session with Zaina Greene (Switch), Laura Hudson (SC Crime Victims' Council), Frank Shock (DSS), and Jonathan Bastoni (Law Enforcement).
